About Poppit's Playhouse LLC

Poppit is a larger than life 13 year old Chihuahua who was rescued from a hoarding situation in Ocean Shores, Washington, and now lives a fabulous life in sunny Southern California. This little lady was one of 40 dogs living in some of the most grotesque and inhuman environments few animals survive. To make matters even more challenging, she was the runt of the litter and was bullied by all the other larger dogs. They were biting and nipping at her bootie and she would run around trying to get away. It was one of the hardest things I have ever witnessed. As a result, Poppit lives with mobility challenges like bilateral luxating patella, hip dysphasia, and a collapsing trachea. While she still gets around with determination, her need for support inspired the creation of Poppit’s Playhouse and our flagship GO Wheelchair. Designed specifically for small dogs like Chihuahuas, the GO Wheelchair combines lightweight, durable materials with comfort focused engineering to help pets like Poppit stay active, independent, and full of joy.

Poppit isn’t just our inspiration, she’s the first test pilot and the heart of our mission: helping small dogs with mobility issues live their best lives and preventing premature euthanasia through better mobility solutions. Her story drives everything we build.

Instead, we design every component with care: using premium, responsibly sourced materials such as PETG-CF, PA12, TPU, carbon fiber tubes, 316 stainless steel axles and 404 stainless steel bearings. Our GO Wheelchair is built with advanced 3D printing techniques on precision equipment, rigorous Six Sigma Black Belt  standards, and extensive real world validation testing and research.

We prioritize durable, long lasting components that minimize the need for frequent replacements. We favor recyclable and repairable designs. And we focus on local and ethical sourcing wherever possible. The result is a mobility solution that truly lasts, helping small dogs like Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Pugs, and French Bulldogs stay active and independent for years and years!
